The Pirates of Brusino
The success of the pirates of the caribbean is invading
the playground, even at our house. True, movies are
just a means to sell more merchendize so this invasion
should not come as a surprise. But how to deal with
it. Our approach is to do something creative; build.
This sounds very educational and nobel but basically
is self interest; I like to prototype and construct.
The result you can see on this page: a pirate ship
big enough to combine with playmobil, obviously built from an old playmobil box. I am now waiting until the children discover white card board can be painted...... |

Second attempt....
We moved house, cleaned up and in the process destroyed the ship. This went unnoticed for about 2 months. So annother paymobil box, annother attempt. Knowing you cannot make asecond one exactly the same, I tried something different, with the same impact on the level of fun at play. |
